Boo BASH IS A multiplayer fps WITH A spooky TWIST, INSTEAD OF DYING WHEN YOU RUN OUT OF HEALTH, YOU TURN INTO A GHOST AND HAVE 30 SECONDS TO GET BACK INTO YOUR BODY. IF YOU MAKE IT BACK TO YOUR BODY BEFORE SOMEONE GRABS YOUR GHOST OR BEFORE THE TIME RUNS OUT YOU RESPAWN WITH FULL HEALTH. Last ONE STANDING WINS. The game has many fun game modes to try, like free for all, battle royale, and one in the chamber.

I am the level designer for Boo Bash, I also helped design gameplay including player abilities and game modes.
Player Abilities
Ghost Goop
We needed some way for ghosts to fight back against players sucking them in. The obvious answer was to give them ectoplasm projectiles.
When a player is hit by one they are blinded for a short period of time, giving the ghost a chance to get back to their body.
Tombstone
One of the most fitting abilities in our game.
This provides quick cover in a pinch! Don't stick around it too long, other players can destroy it.
Molotov cocktail
The classic area of effect fire ability. Can be used to section off areas of maps, create a dangerous situation for ghosts to enter their body, and much more!
We added a ring of fire where players will start to take damage, providing more information to the player.
Smoke Grenade
Provides quick cover when needed, this ability provides less offensive value to the player. Because of this, it has one of the quickest cooldowns of any ability in the game.
Sticky Grenade
Some of my most satisfying moments in gaming have come from hitting a perfect sticky grenade in the Halo games. This ability was inspired by those moments.
StimShot
Similar to Octane's speed ability from Apex Legends. This stimshot gives the player a quick boost to run into or out of combat when needed.
HealShot
Boo Bash's only ability that restores health, comes at the cost of a lengthy cool-down and no offensive potential.
Throwing Knife
In hindsight, this ability is just a better version of the sticky grenade.
If I were still working on this game now I would decrease the damage to 1/3 and increase the number of knives to four.
